I am pretty careful with my personal info, and my accounts are set up carefully to make sure something like this can't happen or get very far. Can't give out all the details here, but everything is locked down pretty tight by default and anything that is out of pattern for me that isn't previously arranged causes alarms to go off and things to lock down. And to resolve it I have to physically show up at an office to clear everything up. Yes, it can be a pain in the ass.

What throws me about this was I didn't share a lot of personal info, and she came across as pretty legit. She claimed she worked for Cisco, had business cards for Cisco on her luggage tags and a lanyard badge. She also dropped names of people I knew and knew of in that world. The only thing I can think of is that her phone died a couple of times and she borrowed mine and used that to sneak some piece of spyware onto my phone. However, both of the times she did that she did so right in front of me and made a phone call (once on speaker) to her "manager" which sounded like business and didn't mention me at all. Later on when Goldman Sachs security and some feds interviewed me (it was an awkward if friendly interview) I got the impression that she had done this quite a few times before with a similar MO and gotten away clean each time. The major difference with me is that she didn't get away with any money, well other than the $500 or so I gifted her for each night we spent together and a couple hundred bucks spent at the hotel store.

Her description: she was about 5'10", really slender (maybe 125 lbs), late 20's (she claimed 27), blonde hair, bright green eyes. She said her parents were Swedish but she grew up in Texas. Southern accent that sounded legit, but I got the impression from the investigators that she had other accents she used as well.

From what the investigators said, most of her victims were guys working in the tech industry. Most of them were married and pretty high up the executive chain and apparently weren't as paranoid as I am. I can't know but this might have started as some kind of industrial espionage operation but they went indy.

The moral of the story is that there are some scary bad people operating in this world and you need to watch your ass.

All I can say is that I am sorry you went through this ordeal after being so careful. I guess at the end of the day none of us are really "safe" within reason. Glad you managed to shut it down, but really if my financial broker and FBI got involved. I would be pretty miffed. She seems like a really experienced person and given her description, she sounds fucking hot.

This isn't a timely review. I met her in late 2020 when she was active on Seeking. She doesn't seem to be active on Seeking now but is on SB. I chatted with her on there a couple months ago. Can't vouch for how she looks now but she was a good deal less fit than her old pics and profile indicated. That said was certainly interesting, very forward and talked a big game at meet and greet. Sharing with the community but understand that maybe I got lucky. Anyways I have done sa before a cpl times but wanted to try something new so I joined secretbenefits. Bought a $169 package of credits. Used them all quickly. If that girl was a "scammer", she was a curiously incompetent one because if she would have played a bit more clever she could have gotten herself a lot more money. My own personal opinion was that she was a bit kooky and panicked and got cold feet.

The real dangerous ones (and they are out there) will actually meet you and fuck you several times and give you a false sense of security.

There was this one stunner I met a long time ago, she was in Atlanta but she traveled a lot for work. We met a few times in Seattle and Portland and then over the next few months a few other places.
