I really like my current stable SB, we have been seeing each other for over a year, I know her name, where she lives, where she works, where her kid goes to school. She does not even know my real name, has not and never would be at my place, and even now when we are together and I need to go to the bathroom I bring my phone / wallet with me.

If that girl was a "scammer", she was a curiously incompetent one because if she would have played a bit more clever she could have gotten herself a lot more money. My own personal opinion was that she was a bit kooky and panicked and got cold feet.

The real dangerous ones (and they are out there) will actually meet you and fuck you several times and give you a false sense of security.

There was this one stunner I met a long time ago, she was in Atlanta but she traveled a lot for work. We met a few times in Seattle and Portland and then over the next few months a few other places. Last time I ever saw her was at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica. Two hours after she left every single one of my credit cards went hot and was shut down. Fortunately AMEX was able to courier me a new card, and I was quick-witted enough to call my banks and shut everything the fuck down and right then. Over the next two weeks there were multiple credit applications in my name and multiple attempts to send very large wire transfers (one was for over 500 k) from my accounts. Cleaning up the mess and getting everything secure and usable again took the better part of a month and a lot of uncomfortable phone calls.

Do I know it was her? Not for sure, but the timing was too cute and too perfect for it to have been anyone else. So if you run into a tall slender blonde who goes by Carlie Jo or Carla run away.

In the grand scheme of things $100 is not much, just a third of what I would usually pay for a session with an SB, I gladly pay over $200 for a good dinner with a fine lady, yet I would never pay $100 for pho at lunch so its not pocket change either.

Well stated. And while $100 might not seem like a big deal, if one continues doing that, then it begins to matter financially. If folks want to continue to waste money like that, go for it. Just not for me (and I suspect some others also). One can remain in this game / hobby without wasting money. Just need to use common sense.
