Or they're an outright scam. Has been reported many times that they get people to make deposit to Coinbase or whatever, then transfer those funds to a "new better" (fake) exchange, and they lose their entire fund, the whole exchange is just a fake site set up by the scammer. Run for the hills if the girl mentions crypto. I had a decent looking chic who groomed me for 2 weeks to join a crypto pool in Coinbase. I transferred 1000 $ and she kept bugging to wire more money in my Coinbase account and transfer them into the pool. I grew suspicious and withdrew my money. Turned out it is a well known scam often using dating platforms. She was a really good scammer and played her role very well, but I figured her bs out, learned my lesson and fortunately didn't lose my money.
