What is it with Massachusetts' drivers? The rudeness and road rage is boundless. The same thing is on display in Rhode Island. I guess New York is just as bad if not worse. It must be the densely populated city life that angers people and they manifest that anger while behind the wheel of their vehicles. Last week coming home from work, a massive tractor trailer pinned me against the wall inside the Callahan tunnel. He nearly squashed my car. I flashed my brights and honked the horn. He flipped me off. I got his tag number and called MSP. They took a report and said they would send someone to pull him over and have a chat with him. I sure hope they found him as he was not too hard to miss.

Although my Yankees have easily the best record in baseball and are in first place at 24-8 and currently are winning 75% of their games, I know heartbreak will come this year since, just as it has for the past 13 years. The Red Sux are in last place, or close to it, but I know they will go back to the World Series this year. I hate the Red Sux so much, that I get more joy from A Red Sux loss than I do a Yankees win. Think about that for a minute: I hate them so much that I would rather see the Sux lose than the Yankees win. The Sux have caused me great pain over the past 19 years and to see them in last place and losing 2/3's of their games is a beautiful thing.

The constant construction on Storrow Drive is really a pain in the ass. It seems as though it never ends. The upside is that the road is much, much smoother now and there is nothing like smooth asphalt to make the ride home much more enjoyable. The sad fact is that Boston is in a state of perpetual construction.
