With COVID the clubs were all closed for many months. The girls couldn't go that long without earnings, so that forced them to make other arrangements which continue to today, and have changed the landscape.

Strippers in general are not good at planning. When they need money, they would show up at the club, open their legs and collected the dollars. It was an almost unlimited source of cash. As long as they didn't have their period and kept themselves clean and fresh, they could make hundreds or even thousands of dollars a night. Admittedly most just made enough to scrape by and pay enough rent to not get evicted while purchasing their drugs. When COVID came they had no club to work at and no longer an unlimited supply of guys to collect money from.

These girls are not typically good at business or anything that demands competence and keeping a schedule. They would not spend the time / effort to set up an * site or join Seeking Arrangement because it was too darn easy and convenient to go to the club, show pussy, and collect hundreds of dollars.

There are some people on * who make six figure incomes but that is the 1% who work at it every day and answer messages and post regular content and treat it like the real job that it is. Most strippers on the low end can get 10 guys paying 5 dollars for $50 dollars a month coming in. To the high end of 100 guys paying $10 for $1000 a month coming in. Let's say the average stripper earns $500 a month from * Well, that is $500 they never had before that they previously would have had to earn at the club. Since $500 a month is not enough to live on, the real money in * comes from doing dates. Let's suppose a girl does one date a week for multiple hours multiple shots and is paid $500 that is $2000 a month plus her $500 only fans subscriber money and $2500 a month and is enough to live on in Michigan. If she does 2 dates a week that grows to $4500 a month. Now she has her period and can't work every week but she is earning between $2500 and $4500 a month. More than enough money to live on.

Similarly on Seeking arrangement it is not quite as explicitly about sex, but that is what it ends up being about at a similar price point. The girls earn about $500 a night for spending time with the guys. I am in touch with an ex-stripper from a southern midwestern state. She says it is great; she joined Seeking Arrangements for one month, with her looks she had 25 guys who wanted to date her. She ended up getting into a sugar baby relationship with 5 of them. After one month on Seeking Arrangements, she told the guys she didn't like Seeking Arrangements and deleted her profile but she would still see them because she likes them and they are not like the other guys she met (kind of confirming her under the radar status for the dudes). She also works as a Door Dash delivery girl so she has a cover story for the rest of her earnings. Each sugar daddy thinks he is the only guys she is doing this with. They pay her a monthly amount and can see her as many times as they want during the month. But she says something about being able to see her whenever they want is that many months, they will only see her 1 to 3 times. She told me about one of her sugar daddies when he said he couldn't see her in December because he had family events so he didn't want to pay the December monthly allowance. She told him that was ok, but that left her no choice but to go back on Seeking Arrangements again because she really needs his money. Sure, enough that guy coughed up the cash because he couldn't bear to have his sugar baby back on Seeking Arrangements which she doesn't like. She said she is pulling in 4 times the amount of money she used to make as a stripper and she doesn't have to share any of it with the club.

The point being is that these girls have worked out alternative revenue streams and those alternative streams aren't going away in the future even if COVID does.

Girls covering their base costs from * and Seeking arrangement can hunt in the clubs for new customers. They can also dance on stage and collect stage tips. They can drink all night and get drunk on guys buying them drinks. They don't have to earn money in the VIP.

They don't really want to go to the VIP. They are willing if the guy wants to pay $500 but they would rather see the guy Outside the club and receive that same $500 they are used to making on * and Seeking Arrangements. They don't have an interest in banging 3 or 4 guys a night in the strip club's small VIP area.

They can only make this work if the girls are really attractive but the majority of these girls are.

It used to be a girls only way to make cash was in the VIP but now there are more girls running around who don't care to go to the VIP and prefer to see one guy OTC to earn the same more money that they would need to see multiple guys in the club VIP.

Hopefully with COVID waning there will be new young girls starting to dance who were too young to have set up * during the pandemic, not interested in doing Seeking Arrangements, and too lazy to sign up for either site because there are plenty of guys in the club and the dynamic will switch to more girls earning money in the VIP. Perhaps just like before COVID the girls who enter the stripper lifestyle will be just as lazy and won't take the opportunity to set up an online internet presence. The only reason the current girls set up an online presence was the pandemic forced them (necessity is the mother of invention). Without a pandemic forcing the newly eligible young girls on line, they are much less likely to join these sites.

Spot on Passenger! These were the paper chasers that either controlled their substance abuse or a few that didn't use anything other than a drink or cigarette here and there. Social media wasn't prevalent like it is nowadays and the majority of girls that I knew and grew up with from the East side did in fact dance on the west side as far away as possible from being recognized.

Fun fact. For you that are into Porn "Kendra Lust" Michelle used to dance at Booby Trap on 8 mile / John are right out of High School just a couple miles from home. She was always a paper / money chaser and obviously didn't care about who knew what she was doing!

There were quite a few girls that would travel the country as well and from time to time I'd remember seeing some of the most Beautiful women come in Coliseum from Miami, LA, NY and Vegas. Yes, the prices were extremely high but so was the talent.

Another fun fact- For those of you SW people, Asian Liz used to dance back in the day. Met her at Players's about 25 years ago! She was still drinking Vodka heavy back then!

Wish we could go back to having multiple options like back in the day, but times are constantly changing.

I'm sure someone has had an experience with her but my standard tactic of tipping her on stage to show some interest isn't enough. Although I will also admit she didn't really mingle during my visit either so that probably didn't help. I'm not forward guy asking the girl to head to the back and for all I know it may not even be worth it, so asking members that have had that experience if it'd be worth it and possibly a different approach.

What I've done is tip on stage and say "I'd love to get some VIP dances with extras when you come down". Then had her say something like "what kind of dances do you want" to which I say "I'd like to lick your pussy and have you suck my dick for a couple of songs and cum in your mouth", and she says "ok, $120", and I say great! It saves a lot of time. When I first say I want extras she knows she'll make money.

H8 N has small VIP "booths", but I once saw a guy in a wheel chair go back, (he kind of was in the aisle and she was in the booth). Cricket had bigger booths that last time I was there. Bogies had 2 larger booths, but sometimes you had to wait for it. Bogies had great food, but the girls all seem to want CBJ over BBBJ. Let us know how it goes.

I'm from the cap city area of Ohio and anywhere I drive to to try and get some decent play ITC is a hell of a hike. Only areas I can get extras in my state are 1. 5-2 hours away (Akron and Youngstown) with absolute abysmal quality compared to Michigan. Youngstown has Royalty Room which is a BJ shop where most dancers easily break the 175 lb mark or they look like the meth pipe has destroyed all of their teeth. Akron has a good number of dive bar clubs with dive bar prices but the quality is less than Bogart's or Henry's. It's rough down here for sure. Give me a place I can find an alright supply of white, tatted spinners and I would be a customer for life.

I am in the Columbus area too and agree 100% that central Ohio is bad. My go to place until it closed was Harem in Dayton. If you've driven all the way to Youngstown, you might as well head to Erie, PA where you can get about the same experience as you do in Detroit, but at only one club and far fewer dancers.

Planning on making a trip up on Saturday since it seems like Friday nights are the worst for places like SC as you will be competing with the "make it rain types". I usually keep my rounds to Bogart's and SC because of all the GPS reports on FC and LS, but I think I might take the leap and check out the scene at those places. Anybody got a line on if there are any of the goth / alt types around? Piercings and tattoos are a thing for me. If I remember right I had an experience with a Noel at Bogart's that fit the look a while back.

I saw a few goth type gals at Bogart's and FC my last few trips. LS and Henry's also had a few, but not nearly as much as I have seen Bogies and FC, only place I didn't find one was at Criket's.

The best one was a gal named Marissa or maybe it was Melissa at Bogarts in December.

There was also one at FC I saw in December. Don't recall her name, but a petite brunette, medium length wavy hair, lots of piercing, and quite a few tattoos. Multiple ear rings, nose ring, tongue stud, nipple and clit piercings. Very good dance, and reasonably priced for FC. Quite friendly and attentive during the dance, but then once I was done completely became all business. Gave me some napkins told me to clean up throw away the napkins, then got dressed real quick and dashes out of the room, letting me cleanup.

Pixie, a young ebony spinner, provided a worthwhile covered half and half session here late last year. Her being spacey and strange initially concerned me about a lackluster VIP experience, although she really came to life once we got back there. I typically tip a dancer on stage, introduce myself, and then ask them to stop by when they get time.

I would suggest BTS. They seem to have the roomier VIP booths compared to others I have visited. Also. The Packers suck. But enjoy your visit.

Nice report. I stopped by SC on day shift over the weekend. They had fourteen dancers with not many customers. Some names were Cassandra, Chasity, Chloe, Cybil, Elise, Fantasy, Mystique, Sebastian, Sky, Stormy, and Star (the tall blonde one). Not a bad looking lineup including an even split between black and white talent. I've enjoyed Cybil and Elise previously at H8 North. My plan was to repeat with both of them today, but Cybil wore me out. She used a toy during our session to spice things up. Cybil is late-30's (I think), white, dark red hair, A-cup tits, and a petite build. Elise is mid-20's, black / white mix, dark hair, B-cup tits, slender build, nice backside, and has tats. Total damage today was 120 for two beers, VIP fee, and dances.

Elise is a witty and beautiful girl. I enjoyed talking to her.

On to the report of my most recent stupid. Probably 2 to 3 weeks ago I found myself at SC. Showed up around 8 pm and there was a decent amount of business going on. Seemed like some regulars were having a party because they had dominated the attention of about 5 dancers who would jump up on stage when they had to and then zoom right back to the booths to get singles thrown on them while a stack of cash sat in my pocket. Hours rolled by while I kept trying to find a girl to my tastes. Thats when I found Leela. Other reports of too many rules are spot on. She is cute though and exactly the body type I prefer so I was definitely interested. I had been there for multiple hours and just wanted to get the night over with so the dumber head did my thinking and I overpaid at 250 for everything covered. Also made the mistake of paying up front but I lucked out and didn't get burned by a dash.

I would recommend you hit the day shift at the clubs you mentioned. SC has a decent line up on day shift and they're about their business.

Over the years many dancers told me that they danced at clubs farther from where they live, or grew up; less chance of being seen by someone they know. Of course much of that has changed since the advent of social media. Girls from Warren, Clinton Twp, etc would bypass Coliseum, Players, Tycoons to dance in Inkster, Dearborn, Romulus, Lincoln Park.

Another one is that groups of girls would travel together; girls from Flint or Saginaw would dance in Inkster, Dearborn, etc. , stay a few nights in shared hotel, then return home.

Back in the day there was a strong cadre of girls traveling to Bogarts from Brooklyn (Jackson). They made way more money in Detroit area than Jackson clubs. The big difference being that Jackson clubs weren't known for extras and well, you know the rest.

Of course the biggest motivator was probably earnings potential. Same reason that mongers flock to clubs that offer potential for more and better extras.
