Posts: 48Unless they catch you in the act, there's nothing they can do. I threw my back out, I was just there for a massage.

Posts: 254The more I looked into the AMP busts from 2019, the more I think it was a "bust of opportunity" more than careful research.

If you look into the cases, you will see they were all owned / operated by people who lived local. They had kids in schools, husbands / boyfriends who were part of the business who grew up in NEO.
It did not take much to bust them.
If they were owned by different people, or a group outside Ohio, and they moved the girls every few weeks / months, they may have busted them, but it would have been by one or two at a time, making things much more difficult for LEO.
Having they money and girls stay in only a couple places, and those places do not move, it was not hard for LEO to piece things together.

Posts: 254Back in like 2004 the "Hawaiian Spa" in Ashtabula was across the street from the highway patrol. They were there for quite a while, and were FS.

But then you have the old "vitamin shop" in Euclid that lasted maybe two months, in a basement, not super busy, but there was traffic area.
You just never know.

I wonder whether AMPs are a precursor to legalization (with regulation) in most jurisdictions.

Posts: 287It was closed for about a year?(ish) for no discernable reason. No bust or crackdown, I just assumed old owners wanted out and maybe new owners decided o take over what was already and existing AMP space. I could be wrong.

Pull one out and another sprouts up elsewhere. I could be wrong but I think part of there business model may be cash in at a location until they get harrased or closed, then move on. Start up cost is minimal, a few tables some linens and oil, stack of water and tray of candies and your off and running until the day comes then move on. Alot of the neighborhoods these places are located at, are not high crime suburbs so it leads me to believe the AMPs are not very high on the radar until they become, in the eyes of a resident or politician, a nuisance. When the Sex Trafficking Crackdown went down it was worse but as time moves on it seems to be lightening up. AMPs seem to be plentiful, escorting industry unfortunately is another story.

Posts: 1355Or maybe the LEO there was letting it slide and getting freebies?
It's crazy when it comes to getting AMP pleasure uncle LEO is almost more corrupt then the everyday citizens out there IMO. Using authority as a power trip!

Posts: 1404Hey when I lived in Florida in Cocoa there was one literally next door to the police station. Operated for years with a FS menu. Sometimes just hide where they don't expect you.

Posts: 3This place has been in business for a very long time. Used to be an ugly old lady running the joint. Since the new owners took it over a couple years ago it's one the busiest AMP's in NE Ohio.

Posts: 19One of the reasons why I'm not going back. Like mentioned in a previous post, last Friday I stopped counting after 7 guys came in. Mia (who was giving me a massage) kept leaving the room to greet them. I was there between 10:30-11:30. If they a low profile place I wouldn't worry but I don't see how you can be a high traffic AMP by a school and survive.

Since a school is there, and its on a main road there are cameras. Meaning they can have surveillance without staking the place out. Hope I'm wrong but better safe than sorry.

I would think they would simply go out of business since nobody would want to go in there because of the school. What were they thinking?

I would like to recommend my good friend Katherine for massage. She is a licensed massage therapist and is getting certification in Neuro-Muscular Trigger massage (for those who enjoy pain). The massage is only half of it; The most incredible tease and finish I've experienced. Check out her reviews on the Columbus board.
PM me for more detailed info. Seniors only please.
