No shit. I called CT recently to ask who was working after the pandemic and tried to confirm my memory of who's who by asking about general age and appearance (like light vs dark hair). Yeah that might be a little direct as I don't want to see the fat old biddies I remember, but it's also a legit question like asking if a specific restaurant you might not remember is the one with blue walls and metal tables. I did not ask about her figure or anything stupid like that, but I still got an earful of abuse about how they operate a massage business and don't book appointments based on age or appearance. If they want to run a legit business then get some training and move out of the basement into a properly equipped facility.

Speaking of Craig's List, anyone have experience with this place on dempster just off 294? If you search the location you can find two therapists working there.

Tells me that money aggregates shrinking due to a tightening fed / rising rates, rampant inflation causing fed intervention with historic rate jumps and people barely able to keep up with necessities of fuel, food and housing going up exponentially means secondary entertainment industries, one of the few that is pure service minimally effected by the fuel and raw material spike, should probably look at lowering rather than raising rates. But as always, pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered. I would imagine the biz will correct within a year as people rebudget their expenses.

We're in a global economic downward spiral with markets crashing, equities losing billions in value daily, and inflation out of control world-wide, and currency value diminishing before our very eyes, and the prices at massage venues, Euro and Asian, are going up? The proprietors and therapists don't seem to get it, that is, the adverse economic, political and financial news in the USA and around the world. Prices will eventually have to come down in this part of the economy as well. How about an effort to track, publicize and reward venues that lead with price lowering in the days ahead.
