I've been going to Bamboo for quite a while and had most of the girls there with Sally and Andi being the best looking. Everyone seemed happy with 45 tip and I sometimes gave 55 for excellent service. Great full 60 minute massage and HJ with no extras. I've made my last couple appointments with Andi and the first visit was excellent so I tipped her 55. The second visit was not very good with a jack hammer finish so I tipped her 45. She came back in while I was dressing and demanded 60 and she looked pissed. I just gave her the extra 15 and wrote her off. I consider 55 to be over tipping. Am I being too cheap or too generous? Could just be that she was being a ***** that day. Any comments?

All of the Bamboo girls seem to be asking for 60 these days. Some say it's too much. Personally I look at it this way. I don't know of too many places where you can get an un-rushed hour that includes a decent massage, penetration of the back door (not all Bamboo girls do that but most do now), slow HJ, access under the top, sometimes access under the bottoms depending on the girl and your standing there, and a nice foot rub after you pop, and sometimes little bonus surprises, all for under 100 (35 house + 60 tip). To me it is definitely worth it. A lot of AMPs are charging 50 house for 30 minutes now. Most of the time you won't get anything but 15 minutes of shitty massage and a jackhammer job for a 40 tip, so for 5 more than that at Bamboo you're getting a full hour and better service. Yeah, the girls are human and will sometimes will have off days and not provide their best service, but most of them on their worst day are better than your average AMP girl on their best.

Thats my two cents. Take my two cents a few hundred times and its worth a cup of coffee at Starbucks, so take it for what its worth. Bamboo certainly isnt the end all. The place has its drawbacks. But to me its one of the better values out there in terms of what your house fee and tip get you, even for a 60 tip.

I have experienced a bit of this at several places including BW and TT. They seem to have had a meeting, and decided that they want a 50% raise. If they are pulling 8 guys a day, six days a week, that's an extra Lexus a year ($50 k), and requires no more of their time to simply pressure us for more. Some times they hold up 5 or 6 fingers. (I thought wow, that's a great deal only $6 for a tip! I'll be back this evening.). Or sometimes they give you the angry / pout / my-cat-just-died look. Often there is no connection between the quality of service and the demands for money. There are some artisans of manual release who never complain, and then there are another-day-at-the-jack-factory girls who are assertive.

All this money is going back to their husbands in China anyway, and they themselves are not going back to China lest they deal with a month of expensive quarantine eating instant noodles. So this is greed rather than need.

As I have said before, I think its really important to bring back the restaurant model. You give a tip for superior service and attitude. Not because you are shamed into it. Perhaps in this example with Handy Andy, it would be good to explain that "I was planning on giving you $60, but the service was not as good as before. So sadly, I feel $45 is good. Perhaps next time if you put a little more effort into quality time, my wallet will spring open and cash will flow like the monsoon rains. " In other words, don't be blackmailed because you waste money, and she then learns she can blackmail other guys with a hissy fit. And instead give her the hope of more money by earning it. If necessary pull out your phone and translate, or use sign language (put your finger to your eye indicating a teardrop and sadness, and then point down your little man and say "no good" or "not happy" indicating that Mr. Johnson did not get the treatment he longed for, then "next time".

Things got kinda quiet at My Happy in Westminster, after Cindy left. There was a remodel and price increase to pay for remodeling costs. Now I hear that there has been a complete staff change. LE visited and providers were fined for not having licenses. After a second LE visit, all were forced to quit. New staff were hired to fill the vacancies. Not sure if cool ponytailed Papasan is still there. I wonder if this is incentive to raise prices, again. I don't know what the girls are like but I'm sure mongers will report. If anyone has more details on this bust, chime in.

Your report is spot-on, Caribe. Ponytailed Papa still runs the show. Had Hannah / Hanna the other day and after an OK massage wanted 80 for HJ with tipping first. Just shook my head 'no'. She was adamant so I got up and reached for my clothes. She then held up six fingers. I held up 4 and laid back down. Turned into a 10 min stroke, which she did quite well. Not near enough time to cross the finish line though. The high tip request for simply HJ, with very minimal OTC (no UTC), her shitty attitude while negotiating, requiring tip first (which I never do, she nearly flipped because of that), left me not wanting to come back. I'm in touch with two of the former girls and, thus far, they aren't planning to return. Not saying it won't be an option for them, they're presently not wanting to.

Apparently they have two locations. I went to the location at GG off Euclid. It is in a 2 story office building and has no name posted. I saw Lyni who I believe is the third picture in the ad. She is Vietnamese and absolutely gorgeous. She also speaks great English which was nice for a change. 60 house fee and after a perfunctory rub we decided on CBJ for 150. (Turned me down on BB). Many of us give bigger tips for 90 minute sessions compared to 60 minute sessions (maybe 20-50% more). So it makes sense that a half hour session would be a smaller tip. I figure that if an hour massage were legit, I would tip $10-25 depending on quality. The HW bumps it up to $40-$60 depending on quality, access, attitude, and hotness. These girls have decided amongst themselves that $60 is the new $40 - in other words they gave themselves a 50% raise. My work raise is more like 2% and we are squeezed at every angle (gas prices, food, car prices, etc.), so the last thing we can afford is 50% raises for girls sending their money to their husbands in China. So I feel we should hold the line at $45 for basic cucumber waxing with no access and poor technique. So I think I would have held the line at $40 for her 30 minutes of work.

I always tip 40. I get nude hand shakes and tip 60. Have my regular spots.
