The 1st thing I look for in a provider's ad is if they require a deposit. If they do, then I check them off the list and move on. No need to proceed any further with them. There are plenty of providers who do not require deposits.

I don't mind paying a deposit for high end reviewed providers. I've only done it a couple times but those couple times were some of the best times I've experienced in the hobby.
