It's true that there are legit girls on the higher end who do insist on deposits, but they are usually very well known escorts who have a big presence online. I'm talking Twitter accounts, p411 entries, lots of reviews on other sites, etc. This girl definitely didn't meet any of that criteria.

The verified tag doesn't mean anything. They can still scam you even if they are verified. Eros won't believe you over them. You are nobody.

I really don't think Eros even cares. Their focus is getting females to post ads. And I think it's nearly impossible to reach any type of customer service.

I hate that this has to be continuously said. Stop sending deposits. This female was able to scam you out of 200. If she gets 4 more guys to do the same, she has made 1 K for doing absolutely nothing but writing a few emails. Once you send her the money, you have given her all control. And this idea that they need proof that you're not wasting their time. Forget about that. That's the cost of her doing business.

Got in touch with her thinking this must be legit. She asked for 200 deposit. I did it promptly without doubting. When the day of appointment came she stopped responding. I tried emailing several times but got no reply. Then after 2 hrs got a reply stating that she had some issue with the hotel room and she'll be ready in next 30 minutes. Then a couple of minutes later asked if she I can send her 150 more as she is short on her card and she need to need to pay some incidental damages and the hotel won't accept cash. I said I can't send any more money until we meet. She asked to reschedule to next day and guess what, next day again she stopped responding and didn't replied even once.
