I have felt that way at times that I was an enabler, but it's their issues, and if you don't frequent them someone else will. I try to not over-think it and for sure don't get emotionally involved. I just look at as simple supply and demand, so if there is a demand, their will be a supply, no matter who provides it or how.

That is a good observation. The way I look at it, as long as it is consensual, there is nothing wrong with paying for companionship.
