Police do not run stings because they know it's a waste of everyone's time. From their policy directive:

1. Consensual Sex Work and Solicitation: The Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office will not.

File criminal charges based solely on:

Value, or.

(b) the solicitation of such an exchange.

Also sounds like street walkers are in a less tolerated, or not tolerated, category? (Since public sex is singled out as chargeable). I assume that includes oral sex too?

Although I know Detroit police sometimes turn a blind eye to street walkers, might that be the case in Washtenaw County? I am not very familiar with Washtenaw county, but if street walkers there are tolerated, I might get familiar with it. If I knew where they are. Any suggestion for cities / areas there?
