If by that you mean "the local market won't support those kind of prices", you're right. DoVa3's assessment is correct, wages and salaries in this area are considerably lower than those on the coasts. Median income in Louisville is a little over 60 K, and less than 55 K for Kentucky as a whole, whereas some place like San Francisco is almost double that at a little less than 120 K, with California as a whole being about 80.

Anyone, sex worker or not, coming here and expecting to easily pull the same rates here as in those other areas is a damned fool.

Sure, some people will pay the premium, but as a percentage of income, 4, 5, 600 per hour is considerably larger than it is in those other areas.
