I agree with you on the value of anonymity and the mistake of trusting providers you've never met before. In my case, I've only shared my personal information with one provider because I was expecting a mystical experience. Suffice it to say, I was left wanting and have since shared very little personal information with any provider. In the case of Lilah, I used a previous reference and my last name for verification. With a little luck and a lot of patience, it was enough for me to see her.

I respectfully disagree with your characterization of Lilah, however. As I mentioned, she's an extremely personable and gentle woman, when you get to meet her, and I think anyone with a heart can understand why someone who was the victim of a stalker might be a bit paranoid over communication. I'll take the small risk and get verified once by P411, an established company (who probably does a far better job than these random providers anyway), but sending out personally identifying information to a provider I've never met, who can easily and instantly send and upload that message to whoever?
