Posts: 1Just a heads up. I'm close friends with a and. Ky police officer. I've done a few ride along with him. Any time they bust a girl for solicitation, she's given an offer. Three dope deals and all charges against her are dropped. She gets a clean slate.
So, if any provider tries to get you to bring her anything illegal, or even give her a ride somewhere, don't do it. These girls are set free, but given a certain time frame in which to give up 3 busts. They get desperate when time is running out. They will set you up in a heart beat!

100%. I was never a fan of cop shows, but it's always funny to watch those people that truly believe they can talk themselves out of being arrested. I think the one or two times I watched any of it I just wanted to shout at the screen, "Shut the fuck up, you stupid fucker".

Another thing to keep in mind is the cops prey on shock factor and exploiting weaknesses to get what they need for a conviction. They are trained to do this. I've followed alot of these cases, some of the guys are booked into the jail and have to bail out or be released on recognizance at arraignment, others are booked at the police station and released with a citation. There is no doubt in my mind they use that as a bargaining chip with these guys as well. "Hey you can go home tonight we won't even book you into jail if you talk to us. " For a guy who doesn't know what the fuck hes doing, to him, it seems like the cops are trying to do him a favor. When in reality, the cops don't care if you spend a night in jail or not, they want a conviction. in fact, it saves them time and work if they DONT book you into the jail and just do the arrest on site or at the police station. Of course, if you brought drugs or something like that or resisted arrest, you're going to be wearing orange regardless. But better to spend up to 72 hours detained and then get released with no charges to your name, then be booked at the police station and released with future court dates.
opportunity for release is all contingent on your chat log being non incriminating of course. if you have an incriminating convo with an ad attached to a live operation and show up, in these times, youre still fucked. Youll get a reduced charge, but youre still fucked.

I wish I had the footage from my detainment. They told me they would tow my car. They told me they would charge me with money laundering if I didn't fess up. All kinds of lies and bogus shit. I sat cuffed on the floor until they led me out to the entrance in cuffs, took them off, and let me go, walking right past the opened door of the adjoining room with all of the cuffed dudes that didn't shut their mouth. I walked to my car and drove off, and saw their faces in the news a couple days later. This was in a different state with much more aggressive enforcement.

Lots of good tips here.
Remember that rule #1 is you do not, under any circumstances, talk to the police. They're never, ever trying to help you. Only hoping you'll further incriminate yourself and make their job easier. Like chunks, I've been in a situation where they've tried to get me to incriminate, outright lying to me, etc. You shut the fuck up and don't give them anything.
There's a classic YT vid outlining a host of reasons, and scenarios with perspective from a defense attorney and an officer. Not sure if I'm allowed to link but it's worth the watch.

I also was the victim of a sting in the same vicinity about 5 yrs ago. Afternoon meet, she declined to send a face pic, was at an apartment complex (which is why I let my guard down). Went in to the apartment, hotty MILF, she asked for the donation, I did notice a sex toy and condom on the coffee table, she came close to me and I was thinking she was going to do a LEO check. I literally hugged her, gave her a kiss which she reciprocated and the boys came out of the bedroom guns drawn. Cuffed me, read me my rights and I said nothing. Knowing at this point I had done nothing illegal I exercised my right to STFU. They knew the vehicle I was driving as I'm sure they watched as I drove up to the apartment. Asked for my keys and I handed them over knowing nothing incriminating was in the car. After realizing I wasn't going to say anything they walked me to the another parking lot on the other side of the complex and put me in a car. Transported me to Mont Co Jail where I was booked and put in a holding cell. Now it's about 3 pm and I'm not from the area but had played there for several years while traveling for work so around 5 they let me make a phone call to a friend to come and bail me out. He posted my bond and I'm gone. Stayed in Dayton that night, got my car out of impound and hired a local attorney that next morning. Here's where your decisions need to be made.
The police have already accomplished what they set out to do. Knowing the 2 charges are a class 3, 4 misdemeanors they're not solving any major crimes. They just want the arrest to embarrass the fuck out of you and cost you money in the hopes you quit. That's the whole reason for John school, the pics in the paper, etc. I caught a break in the fact that the Dayton Daily didn't post any mugshots that day. The bad thing was the internet aggregators that were super prevalent back then had my mugshot on the internet before I got bailed out. If you don't know what I'm talking about you can read all about them with a google search (mugshot removal scams). They were internet extortionist that developed software to aggregate all the arrest records and mugshots at a massive number of jails daily, (totally legal at the time because your arrest is public record) post these to their website where through google indexing it moved your mugshot to the very front of any search of your name. Oh, and they just happen to have a banner add advertising how to get your pic and record removed, for a fee, from their site. I paid them, got it taken down and removed from google. Fortunately these fucks have been neutralized over the past few years by law suits and Google itself which has new algorithms that prevent them from doing it and have basically removed their revenue source.
My attorney did an excellent job of working the judge on my behalf, I agreed to double up my fine as a donation to help prevent future pervs LOL and got my solicitation dropped, avoided John School, pled to the criminal tools and the judge agreed to wave the mandatory waiting period for sealing the record. All in was about 3 K.

He could have also ran the number on revealname to see if it was operated by twilio. Or done research on the ad in general. Back in 2014 when I got detained I walked free with no charges to my name because my messages werent incriminating and I wouldn't talk to the cops. I ran the numbers through a check ever since that happened, on those sites and sumosear. Not criticizing or insulting, it can happen to anyone. But theres things you can do to prevent it before you even get behind the wheel of your car, let alone get to the sting location.

Possible red flag 2. 5 is bringing a coke as requested. This confirms that you were the one texting. Minor point.

Posts: 919They weren't searching your truck for clues. Before its towed they have to do an inventory of the vehicle going through every part listing anything of value just in case you claimed something was missing. But if they did find something else illegal they certainly would have charged you.

I (and I assume many others here) appreciate you being willing to share this info in such a real-time manner. A lot of folks wouldn't because they'd be worried that LEO are watching them post. Your tale provides a lot of insight into what really happens when you wind up in a sting. Thanks again.

Posts: 200They did search my vehicle after I was transported but before it was towed. Was driving my old farm truck. Everything had been gone through and out of place. Nothing incriminating in it. Just looking for clues I guess.

Posts: 104They have it set up with the phone call everything else is just extra to nail you. Not sure what the laws are but in ohio they can't search your vehicle without your consent unless it went down inside the car.

Posts: 200I ended up loosing my job because of the no call / no show. Fired on Wednesday, started a new job yesterday. Nobody gives a fuck about my record. I am somewhere between 3-5 years from retirement. I am really good at what I do and have been doing it for over 30 years. The work I do is in high demand, low supply. Honestly think I could have failed the drug test and they would of still hired me. Anyone who knows me would find this whole ordeal hilarious. Not surprised. I could give a fuck about a misdemeanor.
