That's the problem. The price point lures in homeless people, the mentally ill, drug addicts (one died at RL. Cardiac arrest), and other fringe societal subgroups. Furthermore, these Chicago apartments have a negative reputation in the Chinese sex worker circles. There's a very low return rate. Most girls hate them. One girl told me during a recent visit that the proximity to the street and expressway and all the subsequent noise gave her at most 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night. She was also disgusted by the condition of the place and vowed never to come back. A lot of girls leave before the rotation is even over. They'll fake an illness or just straight up say they hate it. I mean lets be honest, the place looks like a meth house. Follow the yellow pallet road to squalor. SS, HKPD, 35th are no better. At least when RL had the house, the old man door guy kept it clean and organized. The bathroom was a little sketchy but the shower room and 3 bedrooms were clean. It's no coincidence that the girls back then were way hotter. They talk. They have wechat groups. They share info. "How's RL, Lili?" "It's a shithole. Don't come. ".

What they should do instead is find a clean place, keep it that way, and bump the minimum rate up to 240/280. Have a clean shower with plenty of towels and decent size bedrooms. And put some effort into the customer experience. A place like that would do very well. On par with KP.

They would also have to find consistent quality to get people to keep coming back. Seems there is a large market for this price point as almost each time I've been there I've heard a door bell or somebody coming up after I'm leaving. Part of the reason I haven't been back to these places in a bit. I'd only consider now on weekdays during the morning / day if I'd go back. Also waiting with other dudes in a shitty living room just weirded me out too much on my last visit.
