This forum is the only place where I can try to deal with my feelings about what happened with Kay (Kelly). I was fortunate to meet her back in January 2021, and continued to see her often. I will try to choose my words wisely here. I was informed by a former bf recently home from vacation, who K said may be back in the throes of his stuff, that she had a pain problem, took something for that, and he is the one who found her dead. I appreciate he called me after my message, but I did not believe that pain meds were her thing. I actually texted her with "Are you alive" 2 days after she died. Ugh. In summary, likely OD. Going back to an old bf seems to increase chance of trouble. All in all, sad, and apparently myself and others will miss her. Funeral service at St Theresa's (Catholic) in Titusville Friday 11 am There is a website through funeral home. Cannot recall name right now.

Holy f**k! Sadly, there are certainly providers out there where I'm not surprised to hear of an untimely passing. Had you asked me to do a Ten Most Likely to Not Make it to 2023, Kay would NOT have been on that list! Very surprised! Oh that is very sad news indeed. I was close to her for a while and even used to send her money each month and message her when she was visiting uncle. I tried so hard to help her on her release, but some things are just not meant to be.
