False advertising for BBFS is huge now. If you look on Bedpage or similar sites probably 50% of the AMP ads say BBFS but when you get there it's another story and usually not GFE either. Your rule of thumb should be if the ad blatantly says BBFS it probably isn't even if the phone person confirms BBFS is available. And a close second in false advertising is even that ads that say GFE and don't mention BBFS usually aren't GFE. I've been duped a few too many times and at this point I tend to avoid AMPs unless I've already had good experiences there or they have good reviews here.

I want to chime in here. I've been in this hobby for almost 40 years now. Yes, legitimate providers ask for deposits. Yes, most of the time, it's a scam. But. Here's the thing: even legitimate providers can flake on you, and things can always go wrong. The problem is: when the date doesn't happen, how do you get your money back? It's extremely rare for the provider to return a deposit, even when they are legitimate. And if they don't return the deposit, where do you go, who do you complain to, to get your money back? You can't go to the police, or any government agency. Or if you paid the deposit through a credit card, try and explain to the bank why you want your money back.

I worked hard for my money. I will spend it how I choose and when I choose. I will pay for "regular" escorts, or porn stars, and I don't mind paying the big bucks when I think a provider is worth it. But, I'll be damned if I'm going to lose my money because the provider flakes, or gets a "flat tire", or "loses her phone", or "couldn't get a ride" or whatever excuse they come up with. And I've probably heard all the excuses by now. I don't want to have to try and find someone whose real name I don't know in order to get my money back. If the provider shows up for "work", she gets paid just like when I show up for work, I get paid. It's that simple.

I've seen too many people complain on other boards that they lost the money they gave as a deposit. The answer: just don't give deposits. Ever. It's just not worth it. If the provider asks for a deposit, move on to someone else because for every provider that asks for a deposit, there's another girl who doesn't. Giving a deposit doesn't guarantee anything except that the provider no longer has a reason to show up at your door to earn her money.
