I think this gets confused with a similar situation, where someone actually presents themselves as a cop (by saying so, wearing a uniform / badge, etc.) during an interaction with you, you do have the right to ask them to verify by showing their government photo I. D.

And in Mass. , the crime for solicitation is in the agreement, it does not require any physical contact, or even money changing hands. Think of it like how conspiracy is a crime even if the conspiracy fails or never gets carried out. So once you've made the agreement, the cops will nab you when you show up at the location. Hence why you must exercise caution with hotel meets.

Like this ad listing extremely low rates, if it seems TGTBT, it almost certainly is.

Yes, she has been given relatively downcast commentary, being that her computerized pics and stoner affect (commenter said she was outright admitting buying _ with proceeds during a visit. 99.9% likely scam. I know the girl in those photos, she's from the Philly area, not up here. The pics are from more than a year ago when she used to escort, before she went to jail and rehab. She's out of the game now entirely. I'm guessing the ad is just someone using her pics as bait.

Yep! I got beat for $400 about 3-4 years ago with the Amazon gift card trick. I was supposed to see who I thought was a pornstar (what I honestly thought at the time). Her Twitter seemed legit too and the communication was great until I needed her to verify pictures and photos of flight information.

Never again. I was still green to the high end providers aspect of things back then. My advice? Never ever send a deposit beforehand. They're legit providers out there, where this isn't a 100% issue but now I prefer not to ever pay upfront unless you're in front of me with your clothes off. My $0. 02.
