Part of it is that this time last year people had stimmy checks and part is people are getting tax returns now so based on history they are trying to price gouge the guys who might have disposable income burning holes in their pockets again. The drug habits are worse than ever with fentanyl / crystal meth being so prevalent. Guys have also been paying it. I was hoping the for the "bubble" to pop soon as well. I hope this tax return season will be the extinction burst and the demand will drop. The programs paying people's rent are ending and so are the ones preventing evictions due to covid. I heard from co-workers that a lot of low income / affordable apartments and house rentals have eviction notices posted on them in the last week and its increasing. That might cause a surge in supply. We'll see. I've been off in my expectations / predictions during the whole scamdemic.
