I have always preached that if the person who opened the door isn't the person you're expecting them you should leave. Any deception in terms of looks, or age, or weight, or anything significant is essentially a bait-and-switch. I walk away. Did it before, and I'm pretty sure I'll do it again with zero regrets. If they complain that they already paid for the room, I just tell them it's the penalty for lying.
