Also a lot of you guys are reading too much of this marriage thing. It's often times used as a compliment or a tease. Asian cultures don't suffer from 'conservative' christian ideals of marriage.

Also, you hear a lot more horror stories of overseas/visa marriages because they make for good stories. No one gives a damn if the marriage works out because it doesn't make for a good story. Anecdotally speaking from work, I know about a dozen people that married from overseas partners (Phillipines the majority). Not saying their marriage is perfect, but 15+ years later, and only 1 divorce.

No doubt there are sincere girls out there, but they're all gold diggers! Engage in a relationship with extreme caution.

Well no shiet. If you're marrying a girl that's physically beyond your league, then the girl is marrying for financial security. That's financial security for herself and her family, present and future. Barring showing her your bank statements, the most obvious way to show this is the amount you spend on dates.

I made kinda the same mistake. Met an Apt Asian, who eventually got her own place 5 minutes away. It was awesome. $200 (at first) Saw her a lot. Got to know her. Was a helluva woman. Had big sights on her. (And she knew it) Next it was $300, at $400 I told her to go pound sand. Too much out there better for less. But point is. She was an expert at reading her customers. She knew that as a woman (who I think really enjoyed fucking or was a good actress) and the $$$ was the perfect combination with sex. I mean right? I was and am still married. That's another story. The windows are covered with faded posters, they're open to semi-late, and promote a table shower, but I've been uncertain whether extras are on offer. Will probably investigate eventually, but curious if anybody here has tried.

The website touts FSA / HSA approval, and has appointment booking which leads me to believe "no," but the look of the place makes me wonder.

I haven't been however I know its been there for quite awhile. Long before the current boon. So I never bothered, seems super legit. Plus, I really don't feel that neighbourhood would allow it for long. Think soccer moms. Good news is plenty of other spots within ten minutes of that one that do offer extras.

Anyone have any experience there?. Wellness is in walking distance for me and I'm considering it for my first experience or Qiujun Wellness Spa in Tigard. I just got back from a vacation, so I could definitely use a relief, a nice massage would be killer too.

I've actually only run into the "are you single? I make a good wife" thing once and that was years ago in Florida. But I always thought if it came up again, I'd just try to use it to my advantage. Obviously it's a definite disaster waiting to happen to actually agree to get serious with someone seeking marriage this way. But she's basically signaling that she's willing to be desperate long enough to get your finances under her control. It seems like the available play would be to accept her openness long enough to get good service, and then keep her financial gain to the standard tip. Here's the scenario I imagine and you guys with maybe more experience with these dynamics tell me where I'm thinking wrongly:

"Are you single? I make a good wife. ".

"Well, if I was looking for a wife she'd have to be pretty sexually open and willing to have us both truly satisfy each other. And I'd have to know she's not just in it for money and that I can trust her. I'd need her to prove those things up front before I even asked her for a first date. If a girl really showed me how much she loved sex for its own sake, both giving and receiving ecstatic pleasure, that would definitely be a requirement for me to even consider something like that. ".

Then you see how she treats you. Depending on how it goes and whether you'd even want to repeat with her, you have a few options after her "audition". If she shows she wants money, let her know that disqualified her per your original statements. If she doesn't "earn" it, just tell her that "if I *was* looking for a wife, she'd need to be more convincing than that. " Or, "well, that was very nice. I hope you didn't think that I *am* looking for a wife. My current wife wouldn't like that at all, which is why I said that all hypothetically. " Or, especially if you don't plan to see her again: "That was impressive. Maybe next time we can see where things might go?" and then just don't have a next time.
