Sorry I couldn't reply sooner. The only provider I ever tried to see who asked for a reference was Nelani in Hartford. At the time, Nile provided that reference for me. I see that in ads every now and then, but it is very uncommon. Since you're new, know that you will not be the exception when asked for a deposit or money up front while the gal is still dressed.
