Take time to education yourself and look at what was considered normal BP, weight, A1 C levels, etc in 1970 and compare to now. Is it really that we have learned a lot more or is it that Big Pharma sold gullible Americans the standards were too low in order to sell more drugs??

All of my siblings, and 1 of my kids, both daughter in laws, and all grandkids have had it and, like most every virus, survived with no long term effects. Those who are type O blood like me had it bounce right off. I was sleeping with someone, then drove together for 10 straight hours in a Camry, slept with her again, then spent another 4 hours in a car including 2. 5 in line to get a test. She popped positive and I negative and negative 3 more times over the next 10 days.

Speaking of Big Pharma induced fear mongering, I am, by their standards, borderline morbid obese, high BP, and asthmatic. By countries like India, I am a bit over weight, BP is wonderfully under control, and my asthma is considered extremely mild since it is measured on how often the rescue inhaler is used and I rarely use it more than once in a year.

Those who have truly multiple co-morbid medical conditions should weigh the pros and cons based on their family situation and lifestyle. I live alone, but still go shopping, researching in libraries and archives without a mask unless required, and won't typically go to a store or restaurant that requires the damn useless mask unless there is something I truly want there. The question of shot or no shot should be an individual choice and not some mandate from a useless government.

Some of my coworkers and I are from the Caribbean islands and NONE OF US know any family who died from covid. Many of family that tested positive down there but they only needed some bed rest etc. Haiti has a vaccination rate of about 0. 60% of the population YET the deaths /1 million is very very low, comparable to Australian numbers, about 1/25th the number of America's per capita death rates.

Covid19 is a real thing but THE BIGGEST FACTOR that significantly contributes to death from covid19 is obesity, age and what health conditions someone may have. A healthy young person is has like a 99.97% probability of surviving covid19 where as 85 yr old person with 2 or more health conditions have a 75% of surviving covid19. A grossly obese 40 year old has a lower chance of surviving than a fit 60 something.

The vaccines don't stop transmissions, they just reduce the probability of death from covid19 but for some reason like 70% of the people that call in sick are the vaccinated ones. IMHO they probably have a lot of fake confidence in the vaccines and don't follow protocol like sanitizing their hands etc. They probably feel that they are "special" because they are vaccinated but they are passing on covid19 at the same rate as the unvaccinated and they are catching the newest variations too but with less probability of death. I think the vaccine mandates are to help big pharmaceutical company profits.

I think he's made 3 posts in the last 12 months that we're not about the three subjects. No offense to any normal person here, but I'm not getting my political coverage, election coverage or medical advice from this site, ever. I read 4-6 forums here, ISG, and 2 others. I've never run across anything on any of them besides "you better make sure you get your vaccination because you know the girls are too dumb to get it", travel insurance for Covid, mask questions, and basic info from on the ground.

I just want to read about people getting laid here. I should go back and read the exploits of ozymandias, his advice is awesome. I don't care if you pay for sex, get it for free, deal with hookers, or strippers, or Civilians.
