Do most of you use Burners when contacting providers? What's have you found to be the best and safest method of getting it done?

Yes, they won't protect you the best if you are contacting a sting ad and show up for it, but far more than your regular number though which is what most of the rookies who walk into the ops use. Learn to identify sting ads and don't contact them. It keeps you out of hooker drama by using textapps, if they try to start shit with you you can just burn the number. Unless you're using the apps for actual criminal activity, no way in hell a judge is going to submit a warrant for it over misdemeanor hooker shit. And you can throw a wrench even further in their plans by using a protonmail email address attached to the app, as the server is in Switzerland.

I detest the fact that it is reality that they are doing this, but exactly, you are spot on. It makes perfect sense when you think about it. Because of the whole defund the police movement they arent allowed to make arrests and go after real criminals. So what easier way to meet their quota then posting an ad on a website and waiting for an arrest to be spoonfed to them with no risk of being hurt because the guy isn't a real criminal? Not like the women who actually are being controlled are going to report their pimps, so they have to go after women on SKG that we see who don't have pimps and make the news article out to read as if they do.

If I was in the pigs shoes and didn't have a moral compass I'd probably be doing the same thing, easy career. At the end of the day they are just like any of us in the workforce, they want to get paid as much as possible for doing the least amount of work as possible.

Put as many barriers between your identity and the app as possible.

-a free texting app IETextNow on your regular phone is OK. Obv use fake info to sign up.

-even better is a dedicated phone separate from your personal.

-even better is both of the above and also to use wifi that isn't associated with you.

But if you are mongering hard, then you may want a pay app to use many different numbers on demand. Again, you will need to obfuscate your identity. Don't buy a Burner app thru your GooglePlay account LOL. I mean, you can and it will proly be fine but again, how safe do you want to be? How many hoops do you want to jump thru? I mean we aren't doing super shady shit with terrorists, guns, drugs, and politics so its proly fine.

Personally I just run the app on my phone and if I want to use a pay Burner then I buy it with a cash card. I'm sure they could tie it to me if they wanted.

Has anyone ever been caught up in a sting operation? It's amazing to me given all the real crime that LE would spend a single minute chasing providers or men trying to get their dicks wet. I mean. Cities are burning down, record murder rates, car jackings, not to mention all the other violent crimes you hear about on a daily basis. WTF are they doing worried about this shit. They're constantly complaining about limited budgets which I'm sure means limited officers. Now you have the de-fund the police movement. Honestly, things are so upside down anymore that I'm surprised they haven't legalized prostitution. In any event, it's clear from the article you posted that they are engaged in this petty crime issue so I guess the moral of the story is don't ever pay a deposit, or provide an Uber ride which seems to be the new trend I see a lot in the ads. Christ, that's like leading LE to your doorstep.

Years ago in a different state I almost walked into a sting op. Around 2015. I couldn't find any info on the provider and I wanted to do recon so I had multiple appointments set through different burner apps. I got the room number on the first app, then burned my app account completely and decided to walk into the hotel near the room just to see if I could get a feel for what was going on. I was walking through the halls as they were taking a guy out of the sting room to the booking room. I walked down the steps and out of the hotel and drove off. Saw the article about it in the news a few days later. Only other thing that's happened to me not a sting but my only other interaction with cops in the hobby was when the cops had a warrant for my UTR regular provider I was with. I had just finished up with her (thankfully) and the cop came knocking on the door. Figure a female undercover LEO drives up to your house, they would need to at least walk inside before they could begin to collect any evidence. Like how female LEO won't get in your car if you see them on the street. They aren't willing to take the risk.

they have tried this on other providers in our area and others and if the provider doesnt come out and get in the car, the agent leaves with no charges filed. so i dont think they can physically go inside and have anything stick.

I realize this was on the providers end, but what's really stopping them from attempting it on the guys? So the answer to the question is, the could, but that would take a lot of man hours. So this is probably a stretch and probably wont happen, that woman was involved in a federal drug case out in Youngstown and they wanted her on everything they could. But could they theoretically? Yes. for them actually physically going into the domicile that is doubtful. alot of issues that would make for a flimsy case with that.
