Little late with the post, but was out 12/21 night.

Started at the Cricket. Probably 6 customers and 8 dancers. 1 sat at a table with what appeared to be her boyfriend. 3 sat by themselves in a booth and never interacted with any customers while I was there. Two Latina appearing dancers on stage looked enticing, but given the overall vibe that night seemed to be that nobody was interested in making any money, I finished my beer and went to Landing Strip.

More dancers as LS, also more customers. Definitely better vibe. A little Latina mix girl going by Emerald sat down with me. She was fun, and we went to VIP. The service was fantastic, BBBJ, covered FS, finished with BBBJCIM (spit). This is where she ruined it though. I went for my wallet, and she told me "You already paid me. Right at the start". Now, I had only had a couple of beers, so I was not so drink that I'd have paid her and forgot (This may or may not have happened before, LOL). Also, I came in with around $500 in my wallet, and wasn't planning on spending all of that on one session. I can only conclude that while removing my jeans, she grabbed all the cash in my wallet. Knowing how any sort of confrontation in this situation ends, I chose to just pay my tab and leave. It's really an unfortunate end to the night, I would have tipped her well anyway, the service was incredible, but it was ruined by one sketchy act. Based on that she has lost me as a repeat customer. Overall, I would say that the service was amazing, and would actually recommend taking her for a ride. Just keep your hand on your wallet.

So I came up for a visit to see what was available, compared to where I'm from in OH, the diversity and sheer number of girls is always a good thing, this time however I was dare say disappointed in what was available.

Day shift.

Silver Criket. About 8 girls working all black / latino / biracial up my alley but I had just arrived in town for a beer, in hindsight should've stayed.

BT's. Dead as fuck, 5 girls were working, all look bored as hell and none I would skeet inside of.

Night Shift.

Henry VIII- Onto the more interesting part, in H8 there were about 6 girls working, 1st I saw a Lacey, blonde, older, bolt-ons, I ask how much for FS, she says 300, I counter with 150, she said she could do a CBJ for $100, no thanks. Next is a red head from texas with BD and a great ass for a white girl. She says she doesn't do FS. 3rd we have Riley, young, tatted up, brunette / black hair "spinner" as people like to describe. She quotes me 120 for a BJ with no condom but she doesn't have sex, I just say fuck it, BJ was a 7/10 outside of the fact I couldn't nut in her mouth.

After dinner closed out my night at Bogarts, I did not know they were having a holiday party and it was wall to wall (need to get a covid test too). I see Harmony, mid to late 20's, fat ol ass for a white girl (Russian) and tatted up. In the VIP I ask for FS, she quotes me 200 and doesn't budge, I ask for bareback on the BJ, FS and if she lets fingers inside of her, she goes on a slight rant saying she is the cleanest girl in there, after 2 songs I just give her 40, I left an hour later.

All in All I think with Christmas this week the girls are feeling the pressure for more money for the holiday, at least this is what I think. Are women really averaging 200 at bars, even HVIII and Bogarts?

There is a long road from girls dancing on tables, to tableside, to lapdance at tables, to lapdances in designated VIP room, to sex in communal VIPs, to private booths of today. Of course there is the regression in Detroit proper from booths to open VIP areas.

Worth mentioning that the practice of employing dancers as "private contractors" and charging them to dance in the club begain in Detroit. In fact, a few legal actions of the practice made it to the NLRB and is discussed in labor law scolar efforts.

Dayshift is $100-$200.

Nightshift is $200-$400.

Only one or two will holdout for $500+, bc they have regulars that pay it. The rest are trying to finesse you and will take $300 on average.

I never pay these numbers at BT's. Day or night shift, I always offer anywhere from $100 (minimum) to $200 (maximum). I would say my success rate at 100 is about 30%. And at 200 its at least 75%. Most girls will take 200. But usually I offer between 140-160 and it usually works. Of course, there's always a girl or two that has "golden pussy syndrome", but I just ignore those and move on to the next. If you're paying more than $200 max at BT's, you're driving up the market costs. Most will take less if you're a good negotiator. Especially if you don't plan to be back there for a dozen songs. I'm usually fairly quick and let them know that we might only be 4-5 songs.

From my basic understanding since I don't go back many, many years with strip clubs at one point many years ago there were no tip outs then the began maybe about the late 1990's.

I think club owners, management & other employees maybe became jealous of what some dancers could earn during the peak of peak times. Others said its to encourage dancers to do extras, but many places unlike Detroit don't have any extras at all.

I know if I were a Dancer I would not want to pay to work. I suppose good dancers at the right clubs can handle tip outs no problem, but for many dancers it can be a hindrance and cause them to quit.

I posed the original question on tip outs because of a situation I ran into recently in Kalamazoo. I was at a club called Angles, and met a 10/10 spinner, hot girl. It was pretty slow that day, and I went back for a couple of dances with her. I asked about extras and she said not in the club. I asked about OTC and she said if I will pay her tip out for the night she would do outcall to my hotel. She said she needed 500 to make her tip out. I paid it and she spent the better part of the night with me, multiple shots on the goal. I thought that sounded high for a tip out, but I guess in retrospect, I would have paid nearly that much with an Eros girl, and I wouldn't have got 5+ hours.

This is 100 percent correct, I don't go to clubs often, maybe 1 or 2 times a quarter. I used to go only to LS after testing the most of the 8 mile clubs and going monthly to legends when I worked downtown, all pre Detroit curtain rules. Then realized the bang for the buck and non pretentious vibe at Hamilton's places, so now I only go to those LOL. Hold for a bachelor party.

Anyways I let the dancer chat with me, ask if I want a few VIP dances and then point blank whisper what I'm looking for. Have them give me a price, hesitate saying I just stopped in because I drove by only have xxx usually I bring around 200 total, troll tax, a club soda and tip, cover, then rest for the dancer. The only time FS wasn't had for this price was an older 40 ish 7 or 8 MILF I've not seen her again, said no FS. Let me eat her ass during BJ and was a good time for sure.

I pay more than some and less than some but I don't want to spend over an hour inside, I live and work about an hour west otherwise I'd go more.

Unfortunately for me, most every strip joint is within 30 minutes of me, and over the years my workday would often end near strip clubs, or within minutes of them. I do NOT wish to calculate the expenditure over the years.

Looooongtime strip club devotee, I began in 1981.

Tipouts, house fees, stage fees, almost all the same thing. Some clubs had house fee, then separate tip-out to DJ, door, VIP attendant, etc so that club didn't pay those workers, the dancers did.

In the 80's the dancers were paid an hourly rate plus tips. The hotter the girl, the higher the wage. When Tycoons opened (late 80's) the girls didn't even have to do table or inceeasingly, lap dances to make money. It was several years before Tycoons made a VIP room that was one big room with upholstered benches ringing the walls, there was no VIP fee, and the dances were lap dances with hands at your side.

The first thing you need to do is stop that test them out crap. How do you get a stripper to fuck for a 100 if you just gave her 50 for doing nothing? The only reason why guys do this is because they are too shy to ask her at the table if she fucks and sucks for money. She's a stripper not Mother Teresa, you won't offend her.
