One word of general caution about Bamboo: Do NOT walk around anywhere in your socks. I made this mistake and they were instantly wet which really sucked. Kinda makes you wonder what's in the carpet / rugs that would get your socks wet!

As a Bamboo regular, I can explain that one for you. They use unscented lotions and oils along with warm / hot water, often in a small bucket. They also do a lot of washing and cleanup with warm wet towels. I don't think the wetness is generated by clients. It's water.

That said, I concur about not walking round with socks on your feet. Our technique is that she helps me get dressed (I like that) wipes off my feet with a towel then the socks and shoes go on before my feet hit the floor.
