If I was married or in a serious relationship I would not. Too close to home, literally. Small towns have prying eyes that see all so wouldn't be worth the risk to me. Someone will inevitably see something. I'd think it'd also increase the risk of a scorned provider knowing too many people in town to whom they might hold over your head.

Being single, there'd still be some risk especially if there's an disparate age difference that could garner attention. Wouldn't want to be known as the resident Jeffrey Epstein. But as a bachelor one may not care what anyone in town thinks.

At the end of the day I suppose it boils down to individual comfort and ability to maintain discretion as needed or desired.
