Tried to see this girl / male police officer as soon as I knocked on the door they came out another door behind me and cuffed me. I was quiet didn't say anything but was nervous. You are correct most AMPs that you get a HE at are in strip malls, you want something more you have to search harder for it.

An easy solution regardless of visiting independent provider or AMP, apartment (whatever) is to park a few miles away in a large well lit, shopping center and just Uber over to whatever is next door to your destination.

I cant speak to the late night scene, but when Ive ventured out after dark theres always added risk of the unseen, so I hear you.
