Yeah, I remember seeing her last posts about retiring and she was definitely gone for a period of time. Then just seen her new posts about three weeks ago. Thought she retired, maybe needed the money.

So I'm looking at the citation now. And they have my real name, address, telephone number, vehicle year make and model but that is where it stops. No license plate number or driver's license number. With a clear head now I feel like I'm good to act like this never happened at all but let me know guys. I was thinking about not saying anything and was even going to ask for a lawyer but they immediately got another as they say me down and this poor guy had coke on him. So I was immediately thanking God cause at least I know I'm going home in 10 minutes so I just cooperated so I could get out of there as fast as possible.

In my eyes, this looks more like entrapment. If payment wasn't discussed and no exchange of money was made, then they shouldn't have any authority to arrest you tbh. Seems like they're bullying and hoping to get away with it. For all anyone knows, you could've knocked on anyone's door by mistake. Even if you used your real number to contact them (which I hope you didn't do), the purpose of the bust is to see if you intended to exchange money for specific acts, inwhich you have to exchange the money first. Either way, I'd fight it for the sake of dignity. Sorry for what happened to you man.

This happened in Fulton county and I'm 3 county's away from there. What's the worst that could happen here on both end if I just comply or if I just ignore it.

There are a number of factors here (like can you just throw money at this or are you financially limited? But legal matters need to be taken care of, period. Don't just assume you can ignore it, or they'll forget, or whatever; for all their glacial inefficiency, courts DO eventually get around to business.

I would at least talk to an attorney. Was the citation from Fulton? Or Alpharetta PD? You want an attorney local to the court, ideally one with some grease there (like they can pick up the phone and call the solicitor's office and they're known there). I used to know the *top* criminal defense attorney in Alpharetta, but alas, that was 20 years ago; what you want to do is ask an attorney buddy who a good criminal defense attorney is in Alpharetta, and they can go into their network to find you one.

I can't really predict the cost, because this is not a scenario where there's an arraignment and trial; it's "just" a citation. Few hundred bucks, hopefully.

The big concerns you should have are (1) will I have a criminal record? (2) will this prevent me from using things like diversion programs or first offender statutes in the future (ie. Does it "count" as an arrest?).

Finally, if there WILL be some kind of record, think about expungement. Again, depending on how much cash you can rain on this.

But at the very least, *pay the fine*.

I don't put down in a text message that I want to do something illegal. I will read the ad for what services are being offered and her rates. I will check her reviews on this or other reputable sites to assess what services are actually being offered. My texts to her will only be about setting up an appointment and location. I would rather be shorted on services a few times than provide Uncle LEO with an airtight case against me.

Tried to see this girl / male police officer as soon as I knocked on the door they came out another door behind me and cuffed me. I was quiet didn't say anything but was nervous. I didn't bring any I'd with me cause I never bring anything more than money condom and baby oil. My question is could I have got away with making everything up to him and what do I have to expect with this citation. Can I just rip it up and be done with it cause they don't have my license plate or dL number?
