Hadn't heard much here (I don't pay for RR) about Spring in Godfrey lately, so decided to be an idiot and go there. Had a couple positive / OK experiences there when they first opened before the pandemic.

One woman working and a dude in the back, who makes his presence known with a purposeful throat-clearing. About 15 minutes into my hour, some drunk hillbilly sounding MFer comes barging in the place and trudging up the loud ass wooden stairs talking like he owns the place. Maybe he does. Who knows. I thought the place was getting robbed or something. But he goes into the other room and is mercifully quiet.

Then my masseuse says something I don't fully understand, but I interpret as another masseuse is going to take over for her, and is "veddy good!" . Initially, I'm like "Yeah, whatever" -- then I realize that the dude is the only person I perceived to be in there. . And (very proud of my brain for this) right before she walks out of the room, I'm like "Not that man, though, right?" . And she kinda giggled confirming it would be. To which I was like. "lolz no. ".

Lame massage, no teasing, whatever. . Then she ends it 15 minutes early. I assume because she told important hillbilly guy it would be a 30 minute wait.

I'm not happy. This was going to be only the second place I've ever walked out of (Zen being the other) without leaving a tip.
