With the back log of court cases now I wouldn't be surprised by not getting a court date on the spot. Not sure about money actually have to exchange hand either. Tried to see this girl / male police officer as soon as I knocked on the door they came out another door behind me and cuffed me. I was quiet didn't say anything but was nervous. The police said they will CALL you with a court date? Does any one here know if that's possible. Most jurisdictions notify a defendant of his / her court date by mail, or by a sheriff or process server hand delivering the summons.

Can I argue that the person in question is not me because I am a Jr but I didn't tell them that. Like for example if I get pulled over and run my license with the jr in the name will anything come up on me about this incident?

In my eyes, this looks more like entrapment. If payment wasn't discussed and no exchange of money was made, then they shouldn't have any authority to arrest you tbh. Seems like they're bullying and hoping to get away with it. For all anyone knows, you could've knocked on anyone's door by mistake.
