Try something like Privacy dot com which allows you to create credit card numbers that are limited in how much or how often they can be used (even one time use only) and to only one merchant so if it is compromised it cannot be used anywhere else. Gift Visa and MasterCard payments don't work for internet transactions, it is in the fine print of those cards. Don't buy crypto money as you open yourself up to lots of I'd and bank theft. I have used a bank account where you can get a one time use credit card number for a certain amount for internet purchases. I log into my bank account and request a single use cc and they generate a number with a expiration date and a CCV number. I use the same process for Amazon or EBay purchases.
