Try something like Privacy dot com which allows you to create credit card numbers that are limited in how much or how often they can be used (even one time use only) and to only one merchant so if it is compromised it cannot be used anywhere else. It doesn't work well for foreign transactions and I haven't used it for RM but I have used it for other websites and even vendors that I don't want showing up on my bank statements. The Personal account is free and you can create up to 12 cards a month. Another nice feature is that you can use any alias for the cards that you want and the transactions will be approved, so you don't have to use your real personal information for that RM subscription, only with Privacy itself, the vendor will never get your actual PII (Personally Identifiable Information) unless you give it to them.

You have to fund it with a US Bank account, could be a checking or savings account, so if you're worried about a significant other finding out, just open a new online checking account (with online only statements) and divert a few bucks every paycheck to it and no one else is the wiser.

Why is it free? Privacy takes the 3 - 3 1/2% that credit cards typically charge merchants per transaction.

Privacy.com doesn't do 3 D secure authentication, so many places won't work with it either unfortunately.

Gift Visa and MasterCard payments don't work for internet transactions, it is in the fine print of those cards. Don't buy crypto money as you open yourself up to lots of I'd and bank theft. I have used a bank account where you can get a one time use credit card number for a certain amount for internet purchases. I log into my bank account and request a single use cc and they generate a number with a expiration date and a CCV number. I use the same process for Amazon or EBay purchases.
