I'm considered a younger guy by SA standards and it was definitely part of my pitch when I was on SA. It was basically "you could have a handsome young boyfriend for love and a sugar daddy on the side for money that you have to try to balance or you could have it all in one person. " It definitely helped to rope in the more exclusive girls (obviously no effect on pros and semi-pros who are transactional).

Of course the pitch only works if you're a young guy WITH money. I have some friends who work in tech who are single and in their 30's and live in new condos in the west loop who do this and clean up. So yeah you probably are competing with an influx of young money using a similar pitch.

I think SA hit mainstream now and it kind of ruined it. When ******* first came out it was great for picking up girls as was Tinder and pof. SA has become too popular and played out and the glory days will never comeback. A lot of guys using it as a dating app to get free pussy.

I have noticed the girls all have been dealing with this, because when you talk to them the first thing they ask is what type of arrangement are you looking for. They are on guard. Hopefully something new replaces SA which is what SA was 7 years ago.

So I was talking to a lady from chicago from sa and she is one of the more normal ones, so to speak. She said over the past year there has been a large influx of younger guys, even good looking ones at that.

The pandemic has made things tougher everywhere. Its prob going to take another year after everyone runs out of their stimulus / Unemployment money and things open back up again. If that ever happens. For things to be normal.

I agree that Chicago is a tough market. It has gotten much tougher since the pandemic hit. I don't know what happen.

I would be willing to bet there are just more of us and less of them. Supply and demand and that and snapchat and has diluted it big time.
