Long time lurker finally deciding to chime in. I've been in the game for probably 6 years now, starting with AMPs been moving more into the aamp scene. I've been going to Criss for a while now (along with a few others while occasionally popping into 108 every once in a while) and my experiences gave generally always been more positive than negative.
