Heck I have collections agency after me because when I moved out of my old apartment complex back in April and into my new apartment above my uncle's garage, they charged me with $176 in damages (which were bogus stuff like not cleaning enough or nail holes in wall, bullshit because they always repaint and redo the apartments when tenant moves). Agree with what wardog says. Not much judgment here in that regard, and most one it fairly common option with many providers particularly once they get to know any specific client.
