I have had good and bad experiences at all the agencies and I think I can speak for all mongers that having a forum to discuss whom to avoid and whom is worth our hard earned money is valuable information. If new or suspicious accounts need to be flagged then so be it. But senior members or non-suspicious accounts shouldn't be punished or deprived of information just on the basis of the few. The difference is that Google and Best Buy are legitimate businesses and have a legal obligation to handle my information properly. And if (when) they don't, I have clear recourse on how to get them to fix their mistakes. These KPlaces are not legitimate businesses, meaning that if they want to send that picture of my license over to their cousin who does credit fraud or whatever, there's absolutely nothing I can do about it; not even report it. And aside from all that, we all know that when someone in these forums says "privacy and safety", you know damn well that we're talking about LE, scammers, thugs, etc. , and not fking Facebook privacy standards.

How is it reduced privacy and safety? I would bet your information, even if they save it, is more secure than other privacy information about you that's in various databases (e. G. , if you've purchased anything online) or collected by Google, Facebook, and our government. Besides, no one is forcing you to provide any information to them. If you don't want to follow their reference check, then you don't have to use their business.
