These guys ran a network of girls through discipline and business and had things under control. This is so true. Pimps were painted as boogeymen when in reality the successful ones were primarily business oriented. Was able to get out this weekend.

I will never forget it during the prime of the combat zone or maybe I got it at its last leg in the early 2000's because we all know it was there for years. But I experienced it during my college years, I was working valet in the south end and in between parking cars and breaks or leaving after work, I'd make a run through downtown, it was a thing of beauty, I experienced it and so had many of you. The girls looked so good in tight dresses, mini skirts and heels, cars would line up driving around in circles just to look at them. I've witnessed one time a car pull up, with a pimp driving and 3 hot girls got out. It's not exactly like there are a lot of formal studies done that involves keeping people awake for 5+ days by giving them stimulants. You can try searching for "microsleep", it will at least give you a basic explanation of the phenomena, but keep in mind that what we're discussing is a very extreme example of it, and we're also throwing psychoactive substances into the mix as well.

Would you care to share a link to where this direct going into REM sleep in severely sleep-deprived people was shown? I always thought that sleep deprivation actually decreases REM sleep and sleep walking occurs during the non-REM phase. Not arguing, just curious.
