Totally agree America the free, free to chose, but every choice has consequences. This one is easy--no shot, well yo get no health care for covid--stay home and take care of yourself, good luck. I just heard insurance companies are finally ready to pull the plug on coverage on any COVID treatment for any unvaccinated client. So if you no more shot and get COVID, you pay 100% of your treatment out of pocket.

And hospitals not really getting financial windfall--check um, earnings report and see they losing big time caring for homeless and covid. Its on the Internet right next to the conspiracy theorists, LOL. I guess we see what we want to see.

I'm not sure why you'd believe an occupational therapist over actual physicians or nurses that are directly caring for COVID patients. Last I checked an OT's main role is to help patients regain motor skills to perform daily activities. They are not responsible for direct patient care, they don't diagnose patients, they are usually only called in when patients are in recovery and getting ready to go home. I've rarely seen an OT working in an ICU and doubt they'd be working much in a COVID ward. Dude is just looking for his 5 minutes of fame.

My sister is palliative physician, meaning she helps patients and their families at the end of life. Guess what most of the patients she is seeing in the past year are COVID patients who are full of regret for not getting the vaccine, getting a loved one sick, and not taking COVID seriously.

If you guys really want to doubt COVID, then if you get sick, stay home and let the virus run it's course. Don't jam up the healthcare system because you didn't want to take it seriously. Let's allow hospitals to decline treating unvaccinated people who were eligible for the vaccine.

Are there some bad apples in healthcare? Yes, just like every other industry and profession. Some game the system, but there is no evidence that this pervasively happening. For instance, Kaiser docs are paid flat salaries so they don't make any windfall for falsely diagnosing COVID. Stop getting news from random people that are getting paid to hype up these conspiracies. Follow that money trail and you'll see these are not credible whistleblowers or scientists.
