Call your card company tell them you want a new card with new number and that you lost it. When SA tries to autobill the old info won't work. You'll get a message that autobill failed. No need to wait around for the renewal window.

If you have a lot of stuff on autobill call your company and tell them to block any autobill from SA. You'll have to unblock it or use a new card next time around though.

Easier solution is to use a vanilla visa with exactly the amount of the membership. When auto renewal comes around no more funds on the card means no auto renew.

I cancelled auto renew mid July and still had access to everything until I expired in early August.
