I decided to hold on to the short stay room after Krissy and resumed the hunt. I scooped Amy on State Fair just east of the are. I received a promotion at work recently and thought I would reward myself with some strange ass. I hit the are on a sunny afternoon and spotted / scooped Krissy down by McNichols. She is white, short, 29,2 kids, decent teeth, with super long brown hair, and cute in my opinion. Maybe a 6. 5 on the SWer scale. We agreed on terms for my usual and headed to the notel. Tons of massage parlors in many cities; Warren, Royal Oak, etc. Only area that was definitely enhanced by the web was the middle-tier escorts and their ads on the defunct local boards.

Michigan Avenue looked like a parade. Highland Park had a nice little cul-de-sac next to the original Powerhiuse Gym. Fort Street from the post office to downriver. Lincoln Park, Ecorse, the Rouge. Oh, and the myriad adult bookstores that had peep shows; you could get with those girls. I remember the Park on Fort in Lincoln Park where I first saw a girl fist herself.

I hate to sound like an old guy lamenting the good ol' days, but that's the reality of today.

Had I been old enough in the 70's I would have sampled the Willis and Anderson's Gardens.

I think all this "Golden Era" talk is getting to you guys here. I came in at the tail end of the Corridor years myself, and got to bag the legendary Lanai, and also the single finest light-skinned brickhouse dime I had ever seen in my young life. But anyway.

I don't foresee a return to a golden era either. That would require a complete breakdown of the current system, as opposed to the direction the system is going now.

I do foresee a few more prospects of the current culture popping up, because they'll have to earn their rent money instead of letting it lag.

Most of the girls I bagged in the 2010's were transients, for example. So what should I expect? I'm just trying to encourage a little optimism. Just a little.

Only thing that may happen is you might get a little more traffic but most likely to happen is that the strip clubs and escort boards might pick up some and their might be more competition for dollars thus ending some of the GPS that happened when things opened up. What you speak of is exactly describing how it was, Jumbos was a great place to pick them up, they were all around most of those streets, Seldin, 2nd 3rd, Willis, there was even a blind pig in a house that was almost across from Jumbos on 3rd that several lived at. The Temple motel was a place you could go as well as a few other motels. There was one motel at I believe Montcalm just east of Cass, was there several times. Wow, I don't live in the Big D anymore was just looking at google maps, and Clifford doesn't even merge into Cass anymore. Well like you said those were the days, there was a lot to see and party with, I think it was the hunt for that diamond in the ruff that made it always so exciting and worth the trip.

Michigan Ave is busiest of those you mentioned; Mack is sporadic, Van Dyke rare, Fort and Woodward are ghost towns for hookers. Cass Corridor, uou mean MidTown? That area is so gentrified, better luck finding someone falling out of one of rhe bars in the area.

Speaking of bars, back in the day Jumbo's and Sweetheart, and before that Willis Show Bar were perfect spots to find action. We're talking 25-30 years ago. Woodward was hopping then, too. But those days are long gone. What you might find on Woodward is an SW majing her way back from Lido or other place to JohnR. The 80's were great, the 90's not bad. Too young for the golden years of the 70's with the Willis. One time I pulled SWs from Jumbo's for a bachelor party back in the late 80's or early 90's. The hookers back then were HOT. Dressed up just as one would see them portrayed today in movies. Lingerie, high heels, tons of make-up. There was one motel in the Corridor that was like a drive-in, cannot recall name. You drove up and 5-10 girls were hanging outside of their rooms, trying to snag you. When it got torn down, the Corridor as hooker haven was done. They were on Cass, Second, Third, Temple, 75 service drive. Up and down Woodward from just notlrth of Downtown to Eight Mile. Back then it wasn't so much as finding them, as it was making your pick.

Not a report so 1st off sorry about that! But I'm kinda tired of the are and Harper areas I live in the east so I visit them almost every other day I want to explore more was just trying to see if anybody could pm me some more spots to visit mainly on the west I need new sites.
