The actual term for this practice is called Shrinkflation. Companies reduce the size of the product and keep the price the basically the same. As mentioned, Cereal changes constantly in size. Candy manufactures (especially chocolates) have done this for decades as raw material costs fluctuate but the changes are subtle each time because the individual bars are small. Remember how many almonds used to be in a Hershey Bar with Almonds?

Ice Cream was one of the first big items that was widely shrunk in size across all manufacturers. First it went from a half-gallon down to 56 oz for a couple years and now is down even more to 48 oz, the price remained similar each time. Blue Bell the one of the few Ice Creams that remained in a half gallon tub, which is why it's $8 instead of $5. Yogurt used to come in 8 oz cups, now it's 6 oz. Orange Juice went from 64 oz to 56 oz. Jared spaghetti sauce used to be 32 oz, now it's 24 oz to 28 oz. Coffee (large cans) used to be 2 lbs. Now ranges from 24 oz to 28 oz. There are dozens and dozens of other examples.

One of the most recent that hit home with me and was one of the slyest moves is Costco Brand Toilet Paper, they announced last year that due to the shortage of Toilet paper due to hoarding, they would take their Kirkland Toilet paper from 30 rolls of 425 sheets per roll down to 30 rolls at 380 sheets per roll to allow them to have more total retail packages available to sell to members BUT they said they would reduce the price proportionately to offset the reduction of the roll size of about 10%. They did that for a VERY short time, the price dropped from $16.99 to $14.99. Then someone in their toilet paper department got wise and probably deserves a huge raise because of what they implemented next.

Now that the hoarding is over, you'd think they'd go back to the original 425 count rolls. NOPE. They have kept the smaller 380 count rolls in the packs but made the paper slightly "fluffier" changing the product from it's original form. What do you think came with that change? Advertising it as a New & Improved product and they went back to the original price of $16.99! They didn't say how much "fluffier" it is, but I would say it is probably less than 5% more fluffy meaning that they still give 5% less paper for 10% more cost!

Soda and Donuts are the only 2 things that seem to buck the trend. Soda went from 2 quart bottles to 2 liter bottles (giving you more soda) in the 70's and never went back. Liquor on the other hand, used that same conversion to metric to the opposite effect, a half gallon, quart, pint and half-pint bottle are now 1.75 L, 750 ml, 375 ml and 200 ml. All smaller than their predecessor.

Donuts bought at the right place will come in a 13 count "Baker's Dozen". On the flip side, I'm waiting on the day that the egg industry decides to cut back pack size and figures out the 10 egg pack and calls it the "Chicken's Dozen". LOL.

Well boys, here we go. I went to sleep and had a dream in which I drove down the road and arrived at giggles building. I text and ask her to give me her room number, but she asks me where I was parked instead. I did not feel comfortable giving her that information, so I went ahead and asked her again for the room number.

She refused to give it to me and said that she was going to come down and pick me up. I was about to drive off since I suspected that something strange was going on, but just as I was about to leave, she arrived at the parking lot. She looked horrible. A whole bunch of needle marks all around her body, arms, and legs, totally filled, and was also missing about four teeth.

It was a sad view to watch. Once I had her face to face (still in my car with the driver's window rolled down) I ask her why she didn't want to give me her room number.

She kind of mumbled a little bit and said that she didn't know what I was talking about, but then immediately corrected herself and gave me some BS excuse about other clients talking to front desk about her room, something was just not adding up.

The original agreement was that we were going to do doubles, Giggle's and her friend, but I felt really uncomfortable. Although I had seen giggles before once, about four months ago (and it was a great experience) this time she looked and acted very differently than when I had originally seen her.

That inner voice of wisdom told me to get the hell out of there as soon as possible, something was not right. Giggles said, "Come out", I answer, "OK, let's go. " She backs up believing that I was going to open the door. I instead roll up the window and blast the heck out of there. Word of advice to each one of you guys, when that inner voice speaks to you, listen to it. Afterwards I woke up in my house, understanding that it was all a dream. Stay safe boys.

Great news indeed. MIA was my GO TO for over a year sometimes weekly sessions. Always ready for our early morning adventures. While we didn't part of the best of terms unfortunatly I'm very happy she's moving on.

I've never been one for variety so when I find a lady that meets my needs I stick with her and no one else. I remember finding Mia about a month after my ATF of two years had retired. As she said the first review was a fun time however the best times were when it was just her and I one on one no duos and it was always very messy LOL.
