They did the same with me. Threatened to come to my home and work. I told them that I look forward to seeing them and ignored their requests. Eventually I received a muni citation for $400+. Consulted an attorney who said to pay it or try to get it reduced like a traffic ticket. Still in progress.

I'm guessing this is regarding NB Tiffany, who they are prosecuting hard.

They may be giving you the chance to surrender without the at least semi-public spectacle of showing up at your home or place of employment and placing you in cuffs. I see 2 choices. Have a lawyer on retainer to call when they come get you or show up in person with an attorney.

Sorry about the bad luck bud but Have to agree with the rest of these guys. If they had something you'd likely have bracelets already but I'd personally at least get a free consult with a criminal defense attorney and see what they say. I googled "sex crime attorney Milwaukee" and plenty of hits pop up. Doesn't hurt to have someone ready just in case LEO does happen to knock on your door.

You're supposed to be booked? Do they have a warrant? If they don't they can go fuck themselves. Consult with an attorney. Usually your initial consultation is free. You'll find out soon enough if there's a warrant. The attorney will check and if there isn't one, he will see his billable hours disappear like a 4th of July snow. If there is one, he'll be wanting you to sign a retainer immediately. Do not talk to the Popo's. Anything you say will be used against you. Innocent until proven guilty? HA. Guilty until proven less guilty. That's your choice once you open your yap to the the cops.

If they have enough on you to "book" you, they will come and get you. Find a criminal defense attorney, any criminal defense attorney. They should be able to get you out of even going in for an interview. Whatever you do, don't go in to tell your side of the story. LEO's are not your friends. LEO's can lie to you, tell you that they evidence against you, and try to hem you up at every turn. You are under no obligation to testify against yourself. The best thing you can do is remain silent. Any lawyer will tell you that the biggest problem they have is defending a client that has talked to the police.
