I strongly recommend any newcomers to the Sugar Bowl to visit the Richmond, Virginia forum's sugaring threads. Contributors from around the country have shared exhaustive, step by step advice on how to have successful sugar dates, as well as how to prevent various unpleasant situations. Knowing this is essential to preventing the countless rob and scam scenarios that are found on all dating platforms today.

Mongering habits don't fully translate into sugaring. When mongering scenarios happen within a sugar context, know that you're dealing with a pro, very likely a rob.

Sugar babies don't have menus, only hardened prostitutes set all sorts of rules. A non pro will have her preferences, and will accommodate you if she's into you.

As you mentioned, never give any money before the action: tricks do this, but not SDs. There's absolutely no reason to send money electronically before a date. Turning down a cash allowance is an obvious red flag.

Trust your instincts: anyone proposing a first date in a shady hotel is a pro, and possibly also a rob. A normal girl will be concerned for her safety, and will often want to meet in a public setting at first. A pro knows her pimp is a phone call away and is used to daily drama.

You meet them at a motel / hotel = sketch or a pro.

Longer their bio, higher chance of having GPS (golden pussy syndrome).

Not this time damn it! I just felt if this fucker shows then ill decide then if I want to square up if he's unarmed or just take the L if he is. If I take the L then I'm coming back with a brick through the window later. * can have it charged to her card lmao. I go to the area where I saw her put the donation, tho I don't know where, and she gets between me. Told her I'm leaving with at least some of it (if she gave it all back right then and there I prob would have given her 100), but shit drags on saying she can't do that she'll get in trouble, blah blah blah. I tell her I'm sorry for what her boy / booker set her up, but that's something for her to deal with her boy for putting her in that situation. Either she's honoring the menu that was given, or I'm taking at least half the donation back. She gets on her phone again and does the same trick in trying to scare me into leaving with her fake conversations. Think she was bluffing tho because I never heard a noise on the line, just her talking. This happens a couple times but I'm still standing there waiting for my shit back or someone to come in.

I try sweet talking her into anything past a massage but its still no. Felt her up a little bit mainly trying to move her aside so I can find / grab my cash but she ain't about it. Point of the story when it comes to SA: never pay for shit before meeting unless you trust her like that. Don't let your dick take over and ignore the red flags if somethings off. Just like how there's an average rate on agencies or HX, there is also one on SA.
