The Feds are putting heavy pressure on the company's as they know what most are using them for. To avoid any regulations by the Feds these text app company's are now giving LE your personal information associated with your account. All the LE agency has to do is fill out a simple warrant & fax it to the text App service. You can even read about that on Google.

Mopar, I too have a close friend on that side of the law in a different state that actually enforces the hobby much more aggressively then even Ohio. Ohio is still very primitive in their stings in comparison, hard to believe but true. My speculation is that the guy got there or drove by and left, they got his plate, and decided that it was sufficient to go track him down by plate.
