Like I said, how many people have you personally talked to who like Oboomboomcare? Everyone I've talked to has said it's too expensive.

I've met many people who like their health plan under the ACA. While I agree, the ACA has a few very expensive health plans, you cannot rebut this fact: 31 million individuals are currently enrolled in the ACA who without it would have NO health insurance.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released a new report that shows 31 million Americans have health coverage through the Affordable Care Act a record. The report also shows that there have been reductions in uninsurance rates in every state in the country since the laws coverage expansions took effect. People served by the health Marketplaces and Medicaid expansion have reached record highs.

Well, after 4 years of trump, we're still waiting for trump's healthcare plan. What seems to be the delay? Trump PROMISED it would be better, cheaper and cover more people. All we've since heard from trump and his minions are crickets.

In states trump carried, many people have enrolled in the ACA but very few in Obamacare.....lol. The Affordable Care Act wins 53% support among the public for its "highest rating" since becoming law nearly a decade ago, according to the latest Kaiser Family Foundation tracking poll.

Well, I guess it is different for everyone but it seems that multiple posters are not aware how expensive medical insurance is on the open market. Was paying $2000 per month for a mid tier BCBS policy after I retired at 60 for a family of three. Same policy I had through my employer for roughly $350 (company paid over 80% of all health care costs). Now switched to Obamacare. Paying $850 per month for a BCBS Gold policy that is $2550 on the open market without the government subsidy. Only caveat is that if I show more than $85,000 in income I lose the entire subsidy and pay BCBS $2550 per month. I have a good accountant and showed less than this magic mumber for 2020 and actively manage my finances to keep showing less than the magic number even though my spend is quite a bit higher. So, for this middle class Joe the Obama subsidy is putting $1700 per month right back into my stripper and service provider fund. Being the nice guy that I am I use trickle down economics to then help those ladies ladies in need. The ones with the beat up cars (or no car), some kids to feed, or bills to pay. I'm not a Demorat nor Republican, but the affordable act is working for some in the middle class.

I'm glad it worked out for you. For me, and I'm talking about circa 2011 and on, my premiums were going to be at least double what they had been with a private insurer like BCBS. When I refused to play along and went uninsured for four years (I negotiated with hospitals and doctors if I needed care) the Obama government very kindly slapped a $750.00 penalty on my income tax returns. Since I came out better financially being uninsured and paying the yearly punishment I did this for the four years until I found a better option. I'm not a Democrat or a Republican either but I was not going to be forced into something I didn't like and didn't work for me no matter what party was in charge.

Obamacare was nothing more than a scheme to squeeze money out of those who were willing to be scammed in order to pay for the health care of illegals and terminally non-productive hood dwellers. If one didn't play along there was a nice little surprise in the form of a $750.00 penalty waiting at tax time to make sure even more money was in the coffers to pay for the health care of the aforementioned. You either accepted it or you got fucked. There wasn't a goddamned thing legal about it and it certainly wasn't "affordable". Trump and far right wing nuts must be peeved at the Supreme Courts ACA ruling as it sure looks like Trump's Supreme Court appointees have solidified the Court's Center. Could this suggest a possible 3-3-3 pattern, with Roberts, Barrett and Kavanaugh at the center-right, putting a check on their more conservative brethren who regularly push to overturn precedent. We shall see.
