This is a follow up to my reply to KgirlAddict.

I think the case of Stella T is a good one to reiterate something I implied earlier in this discussion: from the customer's standpoint, 500 is much more reasonable from independent girls than from agency girls. That is because they have much more freedom than agency girls in regard to scheduling, how much time they give you, you can communicate with them directly, etc. If an independent girl likes you, she can give you a discounted rate (it has happened to me before). If an independent girl likes you, she can give you extra time. She can offer to see you OTC. It goes on and on. Agency girls? They more than likely have to kick you out when your time is up. They can't typically give you a better rate if they like you. They are bound to the demands and regulations of the agency. That is why, in my mind, if Shannon wants to charge 500, she should go independent. That is also why, 500 is quite possibly worth it with indies. If you like them, build a good relationship and possibly get nice perks. I have experienced that with more than one girl. With agencies, 500,1 hour, and your out the door. No thanks.

Stella T didn't leave. She still lives in LA and told me she has no intention of permanently moving. She just tours for 3-4 months at a time. She will be back by August. Also, she charges 380 in LA. You can say that's high because it is, but in my experience, it's not even close to the same as paying that price for an agency girl. I can't even remember the last time I didn't get at least double the time I paid her for, among other extras. If you are in good standing with her and she likes seeing you, you get way more bang for the buck than from an agency girl. Of course, YMMV.
