It's not so much that she was better than anyone else, but that she can hold her own when compared to heavy hitters at the time (Chloe, Reah, Megan, Stella, Rebecca, Gi-L, etc.). As such she garnered a good following and can afford to command a higher price. Contemporaneous legends did that too but (speculating here) I think the agencies reigned in how much to not alienate and antagonize the rest of their roster. But now with crazy a la carte pricing being what they are, I think it's become more of a free for all. Bottom line: it's your money, see her if you like what you saw and got from her previously and consider $500 to be worth it. Personally, I don't.

If this is her and still looks as good as she did last time I saw her she would be worth it. And I write that reluctantly as I thought her jump to $300 was a hard pill to swallow back int he day. Weeding out less desirables at a $20 difference is just a silly excuse for her. For one, it's a petty amount. In addition, she can easily just let the booker know to BL them (and she has) from seeing her. She was just pushing the envelope to see how much more she can charge. It's GPS, pure and simple. Now she has wised up incorporating both weeding out and maximizing what she can earn at the $500 price point.
