There's nothing stopping the "hostiles" from using the same VPN service you use. A VPN, typically, encrypts your web traffic, transmits it to the VPN servers, directs it to your desired destination, then decrypts it before kicking it out the door. Multiple people use a single VPN server, and with popular servers it is possible for more than one person to access the same website. Also, the "secure link" is built in to the https protocol.

I agree that both sides will blame the other so that they won't have to explain why they did whatever, but it actually makes more sense that TNA blocked AT&T's IP address space rather than AT&T blocking TNA. I feel this way because TNA has lots of uptime issues and seems to constantly have to handle denial of service attacks -- which they seem to do very poorly. Blocking IP addresses is a very amateur way of handing an attack so it sort of fits TNA better than AT&T.

However, if you really want to know who's blocking, just do a traceroute. If the trace dies outside of TNA's servers, then you know TNA is blocking. If it doesn't get outside of AT&T's routers, then you know AT&T is blocking it.

HTTPS uses "Transport Layer Security" encryption to secure your web browser (eg Chrome) traffic between the client (you) and the web server (eg usasexguide).

A VPN creates a secure link between (typically) your PC and another server or network. It secures all of the traffic between your PC and the VPN host, not just the web browser traffic.

Both are designed to prevent others from eavesdropping or stealing your connection and are secure to a ridiculously high level of assurance, assuming current standards are used.

If you browse with https over a Virtual Private Network (VPN) the transmitted data is encrypted by both technologies.

And yes, others can connect using the same VPN host but the host manages / encrypts your connection separately (that's why it's private! The traffic is encrypted with different keys so everyone's data is secure.

AT&T started blocking the other board last week. I thought it was down also. I tried a different Wi-Fi and got in immediately. People in the other board are saying to use a VPN.

Thanks for sharing HS. I was keen on seeing her, so this is good intel. I have the same issue with my car being a dead give away that I do not belong there, so I drive around. Usually there is a fast food joint or gas station near there and I park in a well lit area near the entrance. I then sit in the car and make my calls / texts. When I get the room # - I just walk over. Feel a lot safer that way. I actually do this even in good hotels the first time I see someone completely new that I do not know or trust, just do not want anyone taking down license plates to get mine. Of all the times I have done this, in almost all cases, I have found a taco bell or mc donalds almost next door to the place so this has worked well for me. The worst that can happen is your car will be towed for parking illegally and that is much easier to deal with than a break in or compromising your license plate.

Yeah, if unless it's a motel with a large parking lot I usually behave similarly. I usually park a few blocks away and only bring cash with me. This way if things go south I only lose money, but don't risk losing my I'd, cards, phone and personal info.

As for Amanda-Taylor, she has at least 2 complimentary reports I can remember. Maybe she was with another hobbyists, who knows?

Typically I try to contact them at least an hr ahead and try to establish an approx date time and text her when I'm about 5 min away. When I arrive I text her for the rm #. If she doesn't respond within about 15 min I might go for a 15-20 min walk or grab a bite, then leave if I still don't get a response. Many providers don't have much money so I'm generally not too picky about incall location.

Her incall is in a sketch area in the South Sound, famous for its LE aggression. On top of that red flag, there is a bunch of sketchy people hanging out. If they know or can find out who you are and claim you are the father, they can legally compel you via court order to submit a parentage test. I know that's a big 'if' but I certainly wouldn't want to take that chance. It's important to consider they have nothing to lose in claiming you might be the father. If it turns out you aren't, they aren't any worse off. If it turns out you are, you're royally fucked.

If you've ever done a 23 and Me or other genetic test, the gubmint can and will subpoena access to those records. These days they can just test the kid's dna and run a search in the database to find out who you are. Even if the mother has no idea who you really are, they can find you using this method. For me, it's the stuff of nightmares so I'm in the process of getting snipped.

Yup I know of a couple ladies in the MI area that did actually do this and it was super effective. The poor blokes are now parting with 33% of their paycheck at source. The sad part is these women do not even use that money for the kid or education. Both women I know have shoes, make-up, pills and lots of parties, while the kids run around barefoot at home.
